Panning
The Pan commands move the visible portion of the drawing in the specified direction. They do not change the location or the magnification of drawing entities.
Panning allows you to view entities previously not visible because they were out of the viewing area. When panning, the scale of the view does not change as it does when zooming.
- Use Dynamic Pan to dynamically pan by moving the pointer.
- Use Pan by pointing to specify two points in the drawing to determine the distance and direction for moving the view.
- You can also Pan portion up, Pan portion down, Pan portion to the left, and Pan portion to the right. When you use the pan commands, it is as if the camera, not the scene, is moving.
You can use the pan commands transparently.
