Copying Command History to the Clipboard

Use the CopyHistory command to copy the command history to the operating system clipboard. The command window displays the commands and options you entered, the prompts and messages from running commands, and the inquiries and lists requested for the current drafting session.

You can open and close a separate command window using the CommandHistory command or pressing F2.

To copy the command history:

  1. Type CopyHistory at the command prompt.

    To copy a subset of the command history to the clipboard, select the lines in the command window, then right-click and click Copy History.
  2. Paste the contents of the clipboard as needed.
