Creating Extrudes

The Extrude command creates 3D solids by extruding 2D entities of closed shapes such as closed PolyLines, Circles, Ellipses, or Regions.

To create an extrude:

1. Type Extrude at the command prompt.
2. In the graphics area, select entities to extrude.
3. Type an extrusion height. If you selected several entities, they will all use the same height.
   
   The entity is extruded to create a 3D solid.
